Frequently Asked Questions

What does a typical service look like?
The format may vary from week-to-week, however we regularly experience worship through contemporary music and a practical, truth-centered message. The service will usually last about 75 minutes. You'll find a warm, welcoming environment and expect to be both challenged and encouraged by life-applicable teaching.

Who can come?
We welcome anyone who’s seeking God, whether you’re skeptical, curious or committed to Christian spirituality. We will encourage everyone to get closer to God, no matter how long you’ve been in the faith. Our belief is that there is no such thing as a spiritual plateau where some of us "arrive” – the journey to Christ-likeness is a life-long process of discovery and growth.

I grew up in church - will it be familiar?
That depends on your church background. We don’t have an organ or wear robes. We don’t celebrate any formal sacramental traditions. You will hear familiar teaching from the Bible, and you will experience authentic, moving worship in a contemporary style. You will be challenged to grow and participate in a community of people who are genuinely seeking God.

What about my children?
We believe in helping families grow together. We offer programming for children, infants through 5th Graders during morning services. For more details, please visit our KidzPoint page. You may keep your children with you in the worship service if you like, but we ask you to consider that children will likely benefit more from experiencing worship and teaching at their own level in a more comfortable setting. Arrive about 10 minutes before the service starts to allow time for registration and check-in.

What about my teens?
BridgePoint's student ministry, SPIN, is for all 6th thru 12th graders. Gatherings take place weekly, most often on Sunday nights. Please visit the SPIN Students page for additional information and a detailed schedule.

How do I find out more about BridgePoint?
We encourage those interested in learning more about BridgePoint to attend an upcoming Starting Point class, a casual one-hour class where we discuss and answer questions about who we are, what we believe and our vision as a church. Check our Calendar of Events for more information about an upcoming class.
