Student Pastor
BridgePoint Church is looking for a full-time Student Pastor that will help us fulfill our mission to help students both in and outside of our church get closer to God. Ministry specifics are listed below.
- Oversees Middle School & High School ministries
- Is responsible for the leadership development of staff and volunteers
- Will develop and lead a campus strategy that moves students from their local campus to the church
- Will develop and lead ministry experiences that are attractive and exciting for students and their friends
- Will develop and lead a small group strategy that helps students live out their faith daily
- Will work with Family Pastor to develop strategy for ministry to parents of students
- Will work alongside staff to fulfill overall missional strategy for discipleship in the lives of students
- Will work with staff to fulfill its overall missional purpose
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in student ministry
- Experience in a campus outreach
- Understand the dynamics of working in a church plant environment
- A genuine love for students and call to Student Ministry
- An understanding that Student Ministry is not a silo within the church - a team player
- A family-friendly approach to ministry
- A college degree
- An understanding of and a commitment to our mission of "helping people get closer to God."
- A commitment to make sure that Student Ministries is in alignment with the overall ministry of BridgePoint Church

Internships
Pastoral Intern
This position provides an opportunity to experience first-hand the development of a church from the ground up. As BP moves toward planting it's first church there are many areas that need to be developed and, as such, this individual will be able to participate in a broad range of pastoral responsibilities during their internship. The internship is structured in a manner that allows the Intern opportunities to preach, teach, lead small groups, oversee children and youth ministries, and coordinate all-church ministry events. In addition, the Intern will be able to participate in the strategic planning process for BP's new venue.
This position starts as an unpaid position with a view toward becoming a part/full time paid position.
